We’re delivering free ‘lockdown survival kits’ to the elderly and vulnerable in Redbridge during lockdown 2.

The team have been hard at work putting together bags with face masks, porridge, tea, biscuits, tissues, rice, beans and a crossword book and pen. The free bags are being delivered to our clients in the Redbridge area, and to those nominated by locals.

We’re offering free deliveries of our lockdown kits to other elderly and vulnerable people in the community as we feel it’s our social responsibility. The only requirement is that you live within Redbridge. You can nominate someone in need over on our Facebook page or email us contact@spire-homecare.co.uk. Please include the name and address of the person in need.

The lockdown kits have been going down well. A recent recipient says “It was a wonderful surprise and so lovely knowing someone out there is thinking about you. I’m looking forward to getting stuck into the crossword book!”

There have been numerous acts of kindness portrayed across the media this year. If you want to give back during the pandemic, there are numerous ways you can help.
