The Spire Home Care team took part in Alzheimer’s Society’s Memory Walk last week by completing a total of 5km through Fairlop Waters Country Park.

The team included Sohel Rana (registered manager), Zannat Miah (field care supervisor), Iveta Kriskova (senior care coordinator) and Preeti Maxwell (senior care coordinator).

Senior care coordinator Iveta Kriskova said “Every pound counts. Let’s do something good together, we never know when we or our loved will need help.”

Manager Sohel and the team had been building up to the event weeks before, knowing that on the big day they were making a huge difference to the lives of people affected by dementia.

Sohel said “Each of us made a pact to complete the walk together, and we worked as a team to achieve that. It was a very rewarding day and we were very proud to be walking for all the clients of Spire Home Care.”
